The peak is a point to arrive at, or a point to start from. Between a single point and an infinite field there are processes of contraction and expansion, or indeed one process which seems to change its form according to which way it is looked at. A point becomes a field and a field becomes a point only in an exaggerated representation that serves as a symbol of this process. But all other stages between these extremes – with cyclic contraction and expansion create the pulse of reality.
