"Between Today and Tomorrow — Inside Out"

October 30 – December 7, 2025

This series of works is a collection of fragments — inner dialogues and feelings that cannot be put into words.

Created between 2021 and 2025, it forms an abstract diary about the warming sun, the quiet comfort of being among people, about good and bad days, the complexity of the human inner world, and the escape into a fairytale each of us creates and interprets in our own way.

"Life often feels to me like a chaotic tangle of events. In my art, I seek to capture a moment in time, to depict sensations and impressions drawn from vivid moments, from people and from the things around me. Through this process, I reflect on meaning, revealing new connections and unexpected associations. The search for inner peace and a sense of connection with the world is the central driving force of my creativity. In my works, I strive to create for myself and for the viewer a feeling of love, peace, freedom, and unity. Abstraction allows emotions to be expressed in their purest form, while also playfully concealing words and images — or unexpectedly uncovering them, releasing them unintentionally from the subconscious. Each work contains an inner dialogue that may be subtle and meditative, or intensely vivid, resonating like a cry. I am deeply drawn to philosophy and psychology. Through my personal research and the answers I discover, I share my reflections within the material itself. My process is most often confined to shades of grey and black. My love for these melancholic colours and a meditative meticulousness led me to the Graphics Department of the Art Academy of Latvia, where I continue to explore myself and life."
