At MASA independent cinema club we’re meeting every second Saturday to watch good but unfairly forgotten, cult, unpopular, very special and just simply our favourite movies. Our main goal is to make film watching a collective cathartic experience.
First movie night was on July 23rd where Vlada presented one of her favorite modern South Korean movies based on a Haruki Murakami 1992 short story “Barn Burning” (“Burning”, 2018).
Next movie club event will be on August the 5th where an aspiring Latvian-based movie director Shakhzod Max Han will present “Climax” by a French director Gaspar Noe.
Join us for a crazy audio-visual ride full of sex, drugs, and dance!
