"The Whole"

February 20 – March 30, 2025

Maria Pranka is an artist who has been expressing her thoughts on various surfaces for over 15 years, weaving them into threads of meaning and emotionally charged moments.

She says: "Thinking about my life journey, I can say that it has always been connected with becoming a whole person. I believe people are often divided into many parts, and sometimes these parts don’t even know that others exist. In creating this collection, I explore this phenomenon and strive to connect these parts within myself.

All the works are created by combining my art experience, techniques, and previous works. It’s not just a collage of different art elements; it’s a collage of different parts of my life as both a person and an artist. As the foundation of these works, I chose fine art photos from my previous artistic essence, and I managed to breathe new life into them using diverse art techniques such as volumetric acrylics, drawings, and even quilling.

I attempted to create something vibrant from the chaos of our lives, experiences, and ourselves in this collection."
