The main driving force of Krūma’s works is to question what constitutes art as a primarily social, deeply subjective phenomenon. Their photography displays momentary glimpses of urban surfaces that depict how time and chance impact man-made artifacts and environments around them.

“To me, art is a way of seeing what already exists. My primary exercise as an aspiring photographer is to look where nobody looks and stop when others keep rushing forward,” says the author. Accidental composition, entrophy driven patinas and chaos-to-order aesthetic - all common denominators of Krūma’s works in their search for the next improbable camera shot.
