The work explores the theme of dualism — the contrast between the external and the internal, the material and the immaterial. The white form resembles the framework or shell of a machine, a kind of casing that encloses numerous “compartments” of the ego. These inner fragments act like windows into the personality, reflecting the diversity of human nature — contradictory, fluid, and multilayered. On the outside, we see a structured shell, a recognizable system of order and form, while inside unfolds chaos and variability, expressed through dynamic black-and-white patterns. This tension becomes a metaphor for the human condition: behind an appearance of stability lies a shifting, elusive sense of self. Balancing between philosophy and science fiction, the work presents the “ego-machine” as a fragment of an alternate reality where a person is not a singular being but a complex mechanism composed of multiple parallel selves.
