A сarnivorous plant, perhaps the most effective predator of the Trappy highlands. We found an extremely high level of mutagenicity, due to which several trapping mechanisms were realized, both actively catching: with actively moving organs to catch insects; and passively catching: flypaper traps with a sticky mucilage and pitfall traps.

There was also horizontal gene transfer during the evolution of Carouselus predatoris. Otherwise, it is difficult to explain such an excessive number of adaptations.
