This work was created as part of a small experiment – changing the perspective and limiting the format with square frames. While walking through Kuldīga with frames in my hands, I spotted a small scene that had everything – the bright and warm summer sun, the gently playing violet veins of tree branches, the deep blue sky, and the lush crowns of trees. And all of this was reflected in the window of an old house. This painting always brings me a true sense of home – a warm and quiet happiness that makes you want to return to it forever, knowing that, no matter what, you will be accepted, embraced, offered delicious treats, and uplifted with kind and sincere words.
